We visited Victory Park for a pedicure at Victory Nail Lounge. (Salons by the same name in Frisco and Rowlett are not affiliated.) The lounge was clean and well-lit. Staff offered complimentary tea or juice and welcomed Izzy, provided she was on my lap or in a carry crate.

The neighborhood, on the northwest side of Downtown Dallas, comes alive around noon. Conceived by Perot Jr.’s Hillwood Communities, the mixed-use area includes the American Airlines Center and Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

The salon’s attention to detail, soothing massage and welcoming ambiance earned them a returning customer. Don’t miss the princess throne for fun selfies. Walk-ins are welcome but book ahead for large groups.
