Thursday after work, we met up with some friends from the office for Happy Hour, food and fun. Sway Bowlounge in the Design District was just the place.

This vintage bowling venue is dog friendly, offering a patio carpeted by artificial turf and poop bags to boot. Food and drinks can be served outside and the area features comfortable lounge seating, a fire pit, and yard games, like corn hole.

Bowlounge also has a Fort Worth location. While only the Dallas venue is open for breakfast, both have lunch specials, live music on Fridays and host private events.

The bar did an upright job of filling all our drink requests, plus offered its own signature cocktails and craft beers. Did we forget to mention that bowling and tacos are half off on Taco Tuesdays?
